Getting started with TEBHOS takes a few minutes: create an account, set up your first server or join an existing community with an invite. Registration is free and there are no ads.
1. Create an account
- Click Sign up at tebhos.com.
- Enter your email address, choose a username and a password, and enter your date of birth. You must be at least 13 years old to use TEBHOS (see Minimum age requirements).
- Click the verification link sent to your email and sign in.
To protect your account from day one, we recommend turning on two-factor authentication under User Settings → Account & Security: Password and 2FA.
2. Pick your app
TEBHOS runs in the browser; there is also a desktop app for Windows. On your phone you can add it to the home screen from the browser and use it like an app. See Installing the app and the Download page for the options and steps.
3. Set up your first server
- Press the + button in the server list on the left and choose Create server.
- Give your server a name and an icon.
- Arrange text and voice channels to your needs; the default channels are waiting for you.
To set up roles and permissions, see Roles and permissions.
4. Invite your friends
Click the server name and choose Create invite. Share the generated link; anyone who clicks it joins your server. You can limit how long an invite link lasts and how many times it can be used. For one-to-one chat, send a friend request and start a direct message (DM).
5. Discover a community
If you do not want to run your own server, browse public servers under Discover and join with one click. To list your own server in Discover, see Getting listed in Discover.
If you get stuck somewhere, try the Quick switcher with Ctrl+K, or write to us: [email protected].
