Managing your subscription

Renewal, updating your payment method, invoice history and cancellation — the Polar customer portal and in-app settings.

Pro and Business Class subscriptions renew automatically. This page explains how renewal works, where to update your payment method and how to reach your invoice history.

Renewal

  • The monthly plan renews every month and the yearly plan every year, on the date of your original purchase.
  • Polar takes the charge as merchant of record; a new receipt arrives in your email on every renewal.
  • If a renewal fails (for example, your card has expired), Polar retries over a few days and warns you by email. If payment cannot be taken, the subscription ends at the end of the period and your account returns to TEBHOS Başlangıç; your data is not deleted.

The Polar customer portal

Most subscription tasks are done in the Polar customer portal. The link to the portal is inside the purchase and renewal emails Polar sends you (the “Manage subscription” link). In the portal you can:

  • update your payment method (add a new card),
  • view your invoice history and download invoices,
  • see the next renewal date,
  • cancel your subscription.

If you cannot find the email, search your inbox for “Polar” (including spam). If you still cannot find it, write to [email protected] and we will resend your portal link.

From inside the app

Under User Settings → Subscription you can see your plan, the period end date and the subscription status; cancellation can also be done here (see cancelling the subscription). For Business Class the relevant section is Server Settings → Business Class.

Changing plans

To switch from monthly to yearly (or the other way round), cancel your current subscription and re-subscribe with the plan you want at the end of the period. No days are lost, because cancellation takes effect at the end of the period. If you want to switch mid-period, write to [email protected] and we will look at it together.

Editing invoice details

If you want a different name or address to appear on the invoice (for example, a company invoice), use the invoice settings in the customer portal or write to us.

For payment methods and VAT see Payment methods; for refund rules see Refunds.
